Kirsten accepts instructions in all Chambers’ practice areas. She regularly defends and prosecutes on behalf of the Local Authorities, Crown Prosecution Service and South Wales Police in a wide range of cases within the Crown Court, Youth Court and Magistrates Court.

 

Kirsten has dealt with a wide range of offences, including drugs, violence, and sexual offences. She is currently a CPS grade 2 prosecutor.

 

Additionally, Kirsten has developed a strong practice in regulatory law. Her work with the Local Authorities ranges from initial disclosure, case management, through to prosecutions. Her practice area includes welfare matters, environmental offences, licencing, and educational matters.

 

Kirsten is often instructed on trading standards offences having recently prosecuted ‘Operation Dogwood’ under the leadership of Jonathan Rees KC.
